The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles, and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City from February 26–28, 2025, bringing together industry leaders and innovators from around the world. Among the exhibitors is the Swedish Textile Machinery Association (TMAS), which will present cutting-edge solutions aimed at advancing sustainability and efficiency in textile production.

Vietnam has emerged as one of the world’s leading textile and garment producers, with a strong focus on exports to Europe and North America. Swedish companies, known for their advanced textile machinery and sustainable production technologies, are increasingly looking to Vietnam as a key market for collaboration and investment.

According to TMAS, Swedish textile machinery manufacturers will showcase innovations designed to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and enhance automation in textile manufacturing. These solutions align with Vietnam’s push toward greener production methods, as the country works to meet stricter environmental regulations in global trade.

The participation of Swedish companies in VIATT underscores the growing Nordic-Vietnamese trade relationship, particularly in sectors like textiles, where both regions share a commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The event is expected to attract thousands of industry professionals, including manufacturers, designers, and policymakers. It offers a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and forging new partnerships between Vietnamese textile firms and Swedish technology providers.

With the textile sector playing a major role in Vietnam’s economy, the integration of Swedish technology and expertise could help local manufacturers stay competitive in an increasingly demanding global market.
