On the sidelines of the Vietnam International Sourcing Fair (VIS) 2025, and with the support of the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, a Latvian business delegation visited the manufacturing plant of Vietnam Boiler Joint Stock Company (VBC). The visit aimed to assess production capacity, examine technological processes, and discuss potential cooperation in industrial boiler fabrication, pressure equipment, and thermal solutions.
VBC—one of Vietnam’s leading enterprises in the design, manufacture, and installation of boilers—presented a detailed overview of its production process and flagship products, including circulating fluidized-bed boilers, biomass-fired boilers, and energy-efficient industrial boilers, all backed by an internationally certified quality management system.
Latvian representatives, including home boiler manufacturers, noted that Europe and Latvia face rising demand for boilers and mechanical products while experiencing labor shortages and high labor costs. They expressed interest in long-term procurement, joint investment, or relocating part of their production to Vietnam to reduce costs, expand capacity, and boost exports to Northern Europe and the Baltic region.
This on-site visit allowed the Latvian companies to directly evaluate VBC’s manufacturing capabilities and technology. It also opened promising prospects for comprehensive collaboration in production, technology transfer, and supply-chain development in boilers and mechanical equipment—supporting the expansion of Vietnamese industrial products in European markets.
